Frequently Asked Questions
1. What makes your personal training different from other trainers?
I work with real people. Busy, hardworking individuals who want real results without 5-hour workouts or unrealistic meal plans. Whether you are a complete beginner or a semi-pro athlete, I meet you where you are at and build a program that works around your schedule, limitations, and goals. My approach is form-focused, highly supportive, and always practical.
2. Do you offer both in-person and online coaching?
Yes. I offer in-person training in Boulder, CO and the surrounding area, as well as fully online coaching for anyone outside my area. My online programs include detailed workouts, video demonstrations, nutrition support, progress tracking, and consistent communication to keep you on track.
3. Can you help with weight loss and muscle gain?
Absolutely. I specialize in helping clients lose fat, build muscle, and improve overall performance without starving yourself. You will get a plan that combines smart strength training, realistic nutrition strategies, and enough flexibility to fit your life.
4. Do I need to be fit before starting?
Not at all. I work with people of all fitness levels, from complete novices to high-level athletes. Your program will start at your current level, progress safely, and emphasize perfect technique from day one.
5. How often should I train each week?
It depends on your goals, schedule, and recovery needs. Most clients see great results with two to four sessions per week. I will help you find the sweet spot that keeps you progressing and fits your schedule.
6. What equipment do I need for online training?
I build your program around the equipment you already have. That could be a full gym, a few dumbbells and bands, or just your own bodyweight. I can also recommend affordable, high-value equipment if you want to expand your setup.
7. How quickly will I see results?
Most clients notice improvements in strength, energy, and body composition within 4 to 6 weeks. Long-term results come from consistent training, smart nutrition, and steady progression.
8. Can you work around injuries or medical conditions?
Yes. I design programs to work safely around injuries or limitations while improving mobility, strength, and movement quality. My focus is on what you can do, not what you can’t.
9. What is included in your personal training packages?
Packages include:
Customized training plans
Heavy emphasis on perfect form and safe progression
Technique coaching and feedback
Nutrition support including macro tracking, supplement recommendations and realistic adjustments
Regular progress tracking and assessments
Frequent communication and accountability
10. Why should I choose you as my trainer?
You will not find a coach who cares more. I am not trying to build a giant business so I can sit on a beach while you get cookie-cutter workouts. My goal is to work closely with 20 clients and get each one the best results possible. I am extremely involved, I love this job, and I work my ass off for my clients.
11. How do I get started?
Reach out via my contact form (HERE). We will schedule a free consultation to go over your goals, training history, and lifestyle. From there, I will create a personalized plan and we will get to work.
